Gee, if only there were some kind of evidence-based peer-reviewed statistical way to figure out the answer to that question without deciding the conclusion in advance? Wouldn’t that be great?
Even better, what if people didn’t poison the conversation by posing two equally-dumb and simplistic alternatives to a complex question as a way to discredit science and rationality? I can hardly imagine such a thing!
